My 30th Bag
April 16, 2008I actually made this as a Christmas present. And have made a couple of bags since this one, but it was my 30th. I used Simplicity 4178 - Sewing for Dummies pattern. I really just like the bag shape. It was the medium sized bag. The pattern also has a small and large one along with a cell phone holder. The pattern did not call for a zipper, but I’m thinking zipper for the next round. Just the way that the bag was assembled in the pattern - which was to sew the sides together then attach the pieces - screamed for a zipper.
Fabric is Amy Butler Nigella. I used Alexander Henry on the interior. No pockets.
